Who I AM?
Ricky Lavine Casper was born on May 10th, 1989 in Lawton, Oklahoma along with his twin brother. Ricky grew up being raised by his mother. In school, Ricky made good grades, but quickly became bored. At age 13, he decided to join the Rollin 60’s, a sect of Crips. Ricky quickly rose through the ranks of the gang. By 16, he was a young gangsta and by 19 he was a gangsta. The gangsta life began to take over Ricky’s life in a negative way. First, Ricky went to prison for 3 years for 2nd degree burglary. Once Ricky came home he returned to the streets only to almost lose his life. On March 25th, 2012 he was shot twice in the stomach and spent 7 weeks in a coma and had his right leg amputated.
Once Ricky was released from the hospital he wanted to do something about the gang activity in Lawton, Ok. He teamed up (as a gang expert) with If the Streets Could Talk/Stand For Something Fall For Anything, an outreach program to help troubled teens in gangs get out of the gang life and return to the community as productive citizens.
